My family kept telling me I needed to see a counselor. I was struggling with my faith. At times the shame of my past and fear others would find out was overwhelming. I almost did not go to see Dennis because he was a Christian counselor.
What I expected from a minister was to just add to the shame I felt. I could not have been more wrong. Sessions with Dennis have been amazingly uplifting, helpful, and very practical. Not that I was given simple platitudes for fixes its. What Dennis provided was a safe, supportive place to wrestle with my problems. I leave each session feeling thankful to God that I found a and the help I needed to heal and deal with issues of life.

What is not liked: Nothing

Dennis Gowin was a great find. He has a strong faith which he brings to counseling.
Has the ability to listen and get to the heart of the issue.
